We shouldn’t be surprised at suffering—we should expect it. Suffering shapes us and matures our character.

Why are we so reluctant to share the Gospel? We hear so much about the need for evangelism but it doesn’t affect us if we don’t have a burden for the lost.

It’s in God’s refining fires that the authenticity of our faith is revealed. The purpose of these fiery ordeals is we come forth as purified gold, a likeness of Jesus.

The Bible says we have all sinned and fall short of the glory of God. That’s why we need a Saviour.

To be great is to be misunderstood. Jesus was the most misunderstood person who ever lived. He was also the most forgiving.

Evangelism is telling your story of how you came to faith in Christ. No more, no less.

Think of someone who may have blown it. He or she needs your love, not your judgment. Leave grudges to the world and open your arms with a forgiving embrace.

Rarely will one of God’s heroes show up in the Scriptures and have no failure throughout his or her life. ALL have sinned and fall short of the glory of God.

The word says “there ain’t no free lunch,” but God says “but to the one who does not work, but believes in Him who justifies the ungodly, his faith is credited as righteousness.”

Your mistakes don’t disqualify you from God’s love or His plan. Remember, all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God.
