Steve is the Executive Director at Insight for Living Canada, giving oversight and direction to the ministry. He has degrees in religious education and theology and spent over 20 years pastoring in Western Canada.

The Bible contains wisdom and truth for life in its commands, teaching, and examples so that we can live God-honouring obedient lives.
While intercessory prayer is certainly biblical, I wonder whether some of our assumptions and motivations behind this kind of prayer are unbiblical.
I believe the reason you participate financially with Insight for Living Canada is because you believe those verses and want to see God’s mission fulfilled. You know that getting God’s Word out is essential to this.
We have to always work at remembering and forgetting. We need to work and remember what we believe, and what God has done for us. And we need to work at forgetting harmful things from our past.
Insight for Living Canada is all about sowing the seed of God’s Word. Pastor Chuck Swindoll teaches and preaches the Word of God, and together you and Insight for Living Canada disperse that seed across our country.
There are Christians who pour themselves out to serve others to the point of burnout or breakdown. They believe that when it comes to their Christian service “It is better to burn out than rust out!” But they’re so burnt out you can smell the smoke!
